Your Guide to Dine Out Boston

Dine Out Boston is bringing 12 days of dining deals back to Beantown. A foodie’s favorite tradition, Dine Out is a twice-yearly event in which restaurants offer special prix fixe menus handcrafted by local chefs. Plan a get-together with friends or a special date night for March 1-6 or March 8-13 to take advantage of these deals.

Anthem

Anthem Kitchen + Bar is a comfortable neighborhood eatery tucked in the heart of Faneuil Hall. Anthem reimagines casual comfort food on their ever-changing menu. Chef Jason crafted Dine Out menus for both lunch and dinner, allowing locals and visitors alike to sample his unique take on American cuisine. Enjoy a two-course lunch for $20 or a three-course dinner for just $33.

Stop by Quincy Market for a cozy yet elegant lunch throughout the week. Lunch starters include pickled beet deviled eggs and a jumbo scallop crudo (also available on the Dine Out dinner menu). Anthem is also offering unique lunch entrées, like a refreshing, ready-for-spring strawberry rhubarb salad with arugula, fresh mint, hazelnuts, and orange-ginger vinaigrette.

Dine Out for dinner and enjoy locally sourced seafood specials. To start, Chef Jason blends his Southern roots with New England ingredients. His lobster hushpuppies, served with Carolina chow-chow relish and saffron tartar sauce, are the perfect appetizer for your Dine Out experience. The dinner menu features a coconut crusted haddock with cucumber-mango salsa, lime cilantro green goddess dressing, and yuca fries. What’s a Dine Out meal without a one-of-a-kind dessert?Enjoy the mouthwatering sweets you never knew you needed: key lime & coconut donut holes or strawberry shortcake tacos.

City Table

Back Bay locals flock to City Table for welcoming service and signature dishes. City Table, located within the iconic Lenox Hotel, is celebrating Boston Dine Out with a flavorful three-course dinner for $38. All of Chef Sean MacAlpine’s Dine Out specials pair perfectly with a custom City Table cocktail.

Using local ingredients whenever possible, Chef Sean allows his dishes to tell a story. This Dine Out menu will take you on a journey throughout New England. Start with locally sourced oysters, or Maplebrook Farms burrata handmade in the Green Mountains of Vermont. City Table’s Dine Out entrée menu features a local cavatelli with hyperlocal basil from the Lenox rooftop garden. For something sweet, finish your meal with carrot cake or a chocolate mousse with bananas foster sauce.

Gather

Appreciate all Boston’s Seaport District has to offer at Gather. Overlooking Boston Harbor, Gather serves top-quality food and drink, utilizing fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. Enjoy Chef Patricio Morales’s innovative creations on Gather’s Dine Out dinner menu. Enjoy an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $33 March 1-6 and 8-13.

For your first course, enjoy a beet carpaccio served with goat cheese mousse, honey lemon dressing and chives. Or, order a light salmon tartare with dill caper gherkin aioli. For the second course, there is an entrée for everyone. Mains include roasted chicken, pork tenderloin and pan seared salmon. For dessert, choose between the chef’s crème brûlée, chocolate cake, and a fruit tart.

Glass House

Glass House is a restaurant, bar, and modern-day “meeting house” in Kendall Square. Chef Ben Hennemuth serves unique and innovative dishes on his ever-changing menu. If you find yourself in Cambridge this Dine Out season, enjoy lunch and dinner specials on their prix fixe menu.

Glass House is serving a two-course lunch for $20. Choose between award-winning clam chowder and a robust winter salad to start. For your lunch entrée, savor an eccentrically delicious sandwich, like a blackened catfish sandy, a Korean turkey rachel, or a falafel wrap.

Enjoy a three-course Dine Out dinner for just $33. Choose your appetizer: lamb meatballs, winter salad, truffle tots, or honey sriracha hummus. You’ll have plenty of mouthwatering entrées to choose from, as well. Chef Ben is serving mushroom ravioli, roasted turkey ramen, steak frites, and fish & chips throughout both weeks of Boston Dine Out. Plus, end your night with a well-earned dessert. Satisfy your sweet tooth with churro style beignets or a vanilla almond crème brûlée.
